Honda CB125 Hornet comes with a 123.94 cc engine pumping out 11 hp and 11.2 Nm; boasts USD forks and 4.2-inch TFT screen
Honda has unveiled the CB125 Hornet, a new competitor in the 125cc motorbike market. Alongside the Shine 100 DX, reservations for the motorcycle will open on August 1, 2025. A 123.94 cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection, OBD2B compatibility, and E20 fuel support powers the new Hornet.
Additionally, a thorough walkthrough video that provides a deeper look at the mechanical and design aspects has been published. The CB125 Hornet’s motor, coupled with a five-speed transmission, produces 11 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Honda claims that the motorcycle has the fastest acceleration in its class, going from a stop to 60 kmph in 5.4 seconds.

With its diamond-shaped structure that controls weight and is anticipated to provide agile handling qualities, the Hornet tips the scales at 124 kg. The CB125 Hornet’s design has high-set front indicators and split LED headlamps.
The segment-first golden USD front forks, split seat arrangement, and tank-mounted ignition configuration are additional features, while the sculpted fuel tank shrouds give the profile volume.
A monoshock with a five-step preload adjustment is part of the rear suspension. A single-channel ABS system supports the braking hardware, which consists of a 130 mm drum in the back and a 240 mm disc up front. Tubeless tires, measuring 80/100-17 up front and 110/80-17 down back, power the CB125 Hornet.
It is one of the more feature-rich models in its class thanks to Honda’s 4.2-inch TFT display, which also supports smartphone connectivity and Bluetooth pairing. By connecting to Honda’s RoadSync app, the CB125 Hornet’s digital interface provides turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and phone warnings, and more.
